Jen Gets Married Tomorrow!!!

My sister gets MARRIED tomorrow!!!!!!!

Two years ago, she was about to turn thirty and feeling like she was never going to meet anyone (as we all have felt at one point or another in our lives). So my mom and I got on Craigslist. I had made a few personal ads for myself and had some success, some weirdos, and some duds. So I was pretty Craigslist savvy. My mom and I wrote out an ad for Jen and watched as the emails PILED in!! - Now we didn't tell her we put an ad up right away - until we came across Josh's email. I thought, I've got to tell her - he is GREAT! He's funny, believes in God, has his priorities in line, well traveled, someone she'd be attracted to, adventurous - He was the perfect match-up!!

So I called her - explained that I just wanted her to be happy... so Mom and I posted a personal ad on Craigslist. At first she was NOT happy! But I interrupted her and asked her to listen to the email I was about to read aloud to her (this being an email from Josh)... as I read the email explaining his background, some of the goals he had in life, experiences he'd had - she laughed through the whole reading. I emailed him back and set up a day for them to meet - and let them take it from there. After her first date, she immediately came home and it was apparent she fell in love with his quirky personality and whit.

And it went from there... I could not have picked a better man for my sister!!! I am so happy for the both of them!!
